Abstract

The mission of this Association is to support and promote neonatal nursing. To accomplish this goal NANN will: provide a specialty organization which acts as a unified voice to further the work of neonatal nurses in the provision of newborn and family care; facilitate cooperation among nurses in a variety of roles; promote education for neonatal nursing; foster advanced nursing practice; enhance the effectiveness of nursing in the promotion of human well being; promote ethical and professional conduct; serve as an advocate for the newborn and family; and increase public awareness and understanding of the specialty.
