The American College of Nutrition, (ACN), a membership organization founded in 1959, fosters and encourages nutrition education for physicians, allied health professionals, research investigators, and students in medical schools and in training for related careers; ACN stimulates the exchange of information on nutrition among basic scientists, health practitioners and nutrition educators.
