Record Low Streamflow for May in Many Georgia RiversComparison of 28-day Average to Historical Streamflow for May 30, 2007The lowest May streamflow on record was recorded for 28 U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) monitoring stations with at least 30 years of record in Georgia. The map compares the 28-day average streamflow through May 30, 2007 with the streamflow for the same dates over the period of record. Colors indicate whether streamflow for the last 28 days are a new record low; or are less than or greater than 10 percent of the previous years of record for this period. Only monitoring stations with at least 30 years of streamflow record are shown. The data used to produce this map are provisional and are subject to change.
