U.S. Army awards $7.83M performance-based acquisition for Installation Cleanup

Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. - On September 25, 2007, the U.S. Army Environmental Command (USAEC) awarded a $7.83M performance-based task order to Parsons Infrastructure and Technology Group of Pasadena, Calif., for environmental remediation services at Yuma Proving Ground, Ariz.

The ten-year task order includes performance objectives for sixteen environmental restoration sites, one military munition response site, and eleven compliance cleanup sites. The performance objectives call for achieving cleanup at ten sites by the end of September 2008 and one site by the end of the contract. In addition, the objectives call for performing any necessary operations or long-term management at the remaining two sites and at other sites, where necessary, for the duration of the task order.
