The date on which the document was completed, issued, effective, or published. If the date is unknown, information in the document is used to estimate a date.

The following date options can be used for a search:

• Leave both the "From" and "To" dates empty, indicating that the date range criteria should not be limited.
• Enter only the "From" date, meaning 'give me all documents with a date on or after the date specified'.
• Enter only the "To" date, meaning 'give me all the documents with a date before or equal to the date specified'.
• Enter both dates, meaning 'limit the documents to the date range specified'.

When entering dates, select the month from the drop-down list, type in the day, and type in the four digit year.
