DCIE Charter

 

Defense Council on Integrity and Efficiency

The Defense Council on Integrity and Efficiency (DCIE) was on May 11, 2002, and is patterned after the President’s Council on Integrity and Efficiency (PCIE).

The DCIE is chaired by the DoD IG and meets on a quarterly basis to discuss issues of common interest and build closer working relationships among its members. The DCIE is comprised of:

  • The Inspector General of the Department of Defense
  • The Principal Deputy Inspector General of the Department of Defense who serves as Vice Chair of the Council
  • The Auditor General of the Army
  • The Auditor General of the Navy
  • The Auditor General of the Air Force
  • The Inspector General of the Army
  • The Naval Inspector General
  • The Inspector General of the Air Force
  • The Inspector General of the United States Marine Corps
  • The Commander, Army Criminal Investigation Command
  • The Director, Naval Criminal Investigative Service
  • The Commander, Air Force Office of Special Investigations
  • The Director, Defense Contract Audit Agency
  • The Director, Defense Contract Management Agency
  • The Inspector General, Joint Staff
  • The Inspector General of the National Security Agency
  • The Inspector General of the Defense Intelligence Agency
  • The Inspector General of the National Reconnaissance Office
  • The Inspector General of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
  • The Inspector General, Defense Information Systems Agency
  • The Inspector General of the National Guard Bureau
  • The Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction
  • The Inspector General of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency
