About the BEA Advisory Committee

The BEA Advisory Committee advises the Director of BEA on matters related to the development and improvement of BEA’s national, regional, industry, and international economic accounts, especially in areas of new and rapidly growing economic activities arising from innovative and advancing technologies, and provides recommendations from the perspectives of the economics profession, business, and government.

The members of BEA's Advisory Committee are:

About the Federal Economic Statistics Advisory Committee (FESAC)

The Committee presents advice and makes recommendations to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, of the Department of Labor, and the Bureau of Economic Analysis and the Bureau of the Census, both of the Department of Commerce, from the perspective of the professional economics and statistics community. The Committee examines the Agencies' programs and provides advice on statistical methodology, research needed, and other technical matters related to the collection, tabulation, and analysis of Federal economic statistics.

The members of the Federal Economic Statistics Advisory Committee are:
