Seismic Data Processing and Interpretation

The Seismic Data Processing and Interpretation Group performs specialized 2-D and 3-D seismic reflection data processing and interpretation using state of the art hardware and software for the Energy Resources Program and other clients upon request.  The Group maintains the National Energy Research Seismic Library (NERSL) and have been acquiring seismic reflection data since the mid 1970's.

This site highlights publications, data and other resources of the Seismic Data Processing and Interpretation Group. Additional information about the FY 2006 project is avialable here.

Welcome Kristen Lewis!

Dr. Kristen Lewis, has joined the seismic group as a geophysicist specializing in seismic data interpretation. Krissy, as she prefers to be called, officially joined our group on March 3 and comes to us from BP with more than 5 years experience in seismic data interpretation. Krissy received her BA with honors, cum laude, in physics from Ohio Wesleyan University and her Ph.D. in geophysics from Colorado School of Mines. Krissy's interest at CSM was in moment tensor inversion of shallow seismic data. Welcome to our group Krissy!
