Policy Utilization Assessment   Next Page  Previous Page

The Office of Management and Budget has sponsored through the General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Government-wide Policy (OGP) an Information Technology (IT) Policy Utilization Assessment (PUA) program to conduct independent assessments in Federal agencies of IT policy implementations.

These assessments will help to determine the following:

  • Effectiveness of agency implementation and utilization of Federal IT policies.
  • Policy implementation diagnostics.
  • Best practices and tools that can be used by agency Chief Information Officers (CIOs) to evaluate the effectiveness of policy implementation within each organization.
