The ASC is pleased to present its updated Web site!

We have changed and enhanced the Web site in the following ways:

- Screen graphics and layouts freshened throughout the site;

- In the National Registry section, we added a new subsection titled, "Active Appraisers." This page shows a chart listing each State and the numbers of transitional, licensed, certified residential, certified general appraisers with an Active status;

- In the National Registry section, we modified the "Email Notification" feature to allow you to select "Expirations AND Disciplinary Actions" or only "Disciplinary Actions." We also added the ability for you to choose what file format you would like to receive: text, Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, or Microsoft Word. Moreover, we added a feature to allow you to change/update the email address at which you wish to receive the notifications;

- In the National Registry section, we added the ability to choose the file format for downloads from the Custom Query function and from many of the Standard Queries.

- In the State Appraiser Regulatory Agencies section, we added the ability to download the data on each screen. This includes data about State requirements for education, experience, and examinations; fees charged by States; State contacts, addresses, Web sites, and email addresses; and much more; and

- Added a field titled, "AQB Compliant," to each appraiser record. We will be populating this field with "Yes - No - Unknown" as the States supply this data in the near future, This field indicates whether an appraiser conforms to the Appraiser Qualifications Board's minimum testing, education, and experience recommendations for licensing or the minimum testing, education, and experience requirements for certification;

Finally, we modernized and streamlined much of the Web site's underlying code to speed up the site's performance. While we have attempted to clean up all the "bugs" during our extensive testing period, it is almost inevitable that some have escaped detection. If you discover a bug, please email the Webmaster at ben@asc.gov.

We hope you find these new features and enhancements useful.
