Animations provide an effective way to illustrate the MODIS Land product functioning and to assess product quality.

The following animations illustrate a year of different MODIS Land products produced using the most recent Collection 5 and Collection 4 algorithms. Note, in 2001 there were no MODIS data from day 166 (June 15) to 183 (July 7th).
