Some Comments on Statistical Models in Software Reliability
Jerry Lawless
University of Waterloo
This talk will consider some of the places where statistical
models may be useful in software reliability, with emphasis on
(a) testing and debugging software, and (b) the generation of ideas
for quality or reliability improvement. The discussion will focus on
general aspects of modelling and analysis, with relatively little
technical detail. Some attempts at unification of methods will be made.
