2008 ROSES Solicited Research Programs

The ROSES solicitations pertinent to Code 614 for CY 2008 has been compiled by Laboratory management. Click here to download the Microsoft Excel document. (26 KB, updated 08/29/08)

Please inform Michele Ben-Gera of your intent to submit to any of these solicitations and include the PI and Co-I Names and title. In order to help achieve a successful proposal response, this information will be forwarded to the 614 managers for their review in advance of the NOI due date.

Policy & Procedures for the Proposal Process

Electronic proposal routing will begin with proposals due on August 1, 2006. All proposals including outside agency and unsolicited proposals should be routed electronically at https://saam.grc.nasa.gov/spso_erouter/spso_erouter.aspx. Proposals are due in the Lab office 7 working days prior to the proposal due date. This will allow adequate time for Laboratory and Division level approvals. Note: The Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator should email their GSFC NSPIRES template (excel spreadsheet) to their branch or lab resources analyst for review prior to entering data into NSPIRES.

Outside Agency Proposals

The Goddard PI/Co-I should contact their Program Manager in advance to request approval for institutional contribution support prior to routing the external proposal. Documentation of approval from the HQ program manager should be uploaded into the electronic routing system with the draft proposal and budget template (Excel file). Currently GSFC is registered in NSPIRES, Grants.Gov, and Fastlane. The external proposal request form and the 1 month lead time in the Code 610 office are no longer required. However, the HQ program manager should be given the same lead time to be able to properly respond to requests. The initiator should indicate in the comments section in the SAAM website which outside agency the proposal is being submitted to and also indicate if the outside agency is able to fund civil servant salary and if there is no request for institutional support.
