Our Mission

The mission of the Instrumentation Sciences Branch is to develop microwave remote sensing technology for Earth sciences applications including research on meteorology, oceanography, hydrology, and glaciology.

The site is under construction. However, we made the decision to present the content we have available at this time. If you choose to stay and browse, then we hope you find it interesting as we populate this site with topics and features that are of interest.

The Instrumentation Sciences Branch is a branch of the Hydrospheric and Biospheric Sciences Laboratory located at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

Our Science Highlights are published monthly to our web site. Each monthly report is initially published as a Microsoft PowerPoint file. In efforts to provide simpler and quicker methods finding content, each report is fully viewable online as JPG files. The PowerPoint files are also archived and freely available for download.
