MODIS Science Team
MODIS employs an international team of scientists consisting
of over 90 members from the United State, England, Australia,
and France. The MODIS Science Team Leader is Dr.
Vincent Salomonson.
The MODIS Science Team is divided into four discipline groups:
Atmosphere, Calibration, Land, and Ocean. Detailed information
about products, validation, and quality assurance as they
pertain to these respective disciplines can be found on their
