Western Hemisphere Program

In accordance with the priorities of the FHWA, the Office of International Programs (OIP) is supporting efforts in the Western Hemisphere through the creation of a broad-based Western Hemisphere Program (WHP). The program area covers Canada, Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean. The goal of WHP is to strengthen partnerships with counterparts throughout the Western Hemisphere. This program will create opportunities to exchange technologies, information, and best practices and to take advantage of mutually beneficial training and resources.
