Maryland to Hold a Special General Election on June 17, 2008 for Representative in Congress from the 4th District

On Tuesday, June 17, 2008, there will be a special general election in 4th Congressional District of Maryland to fill the seat of Representative Albert Wynn. To determine if your legal residence is in the 4th Congressional District, consult the U.S. House of Representatives site. Voters who are Maryland residents from the 4th District and requested a ballot for the Presidential and State Primary on February 12, 2008 will automatically receive this ballot and need not take any further action. The County Board of Elections must receive your voter registration by Tuesday, May 27, 2008 and your absentee ballot request by Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Your voted ballot must be postmarked by June 17, 2008 and received by June 27, 2008.

Remember to submit your Voter Registration/Absentee Ballot Request form to your local election official as soon as possible. If you have not received your state ballot complete the Back-up Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot and return it as soon as possible.
