2007 Adobe System Transition in Progress:

The 2006 PureEdge System is set to terminate on June 1, 2008, agencies will no longer be authorized to post PureEdge opportunities. Acceptance of PureEdge submissions is scheduled to end September 30, 2008. Agencies unable to meet these dates must request an exemption from the Grants.gov Program Management Office (PMO). The exemption will carry through December 31, 2008 at which time the 2006 PureEdge System will no longer accept PureEdge submissions. EEX E-Authentication Services: Emergency System Maintenance, March 28 – 30, 2008

EEX E-Authentication Services will be down for emergency system maintenance on Friday, March 28, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. through Sunday, March 30, 2008 or until further notice. Users trying to authenticate through Employee Express will receive an error message and will not be able to connect due to their credentials not being verified. EEX has been asked to notify the E-Authentication Help Desk when their E-Authentication Service has been restored. The Help Desk will send an update email upon receiving notification of EEX's restoration of service. If you have any questions regarding this notice, please contact the E-Authentication Helpdesk at eauth.service.help@gsa.gov or 1-877-307-2258.

Adobe Reader 8.1.2 is compatible with Grants.gov

Testing for Adobe Reader version 8.1.2 is complete. Adobe Reader 8.1.2 is now compatible with Grants.gov. Applicants are required to have a compatible version of Adobe Reader installed to apply for grant applications.

The compatible versions of Adobe Reader are available to download for free on the Grants.gov website at: http://www.grants.gov/help/download_software.jsp.

Please note, not all applications are provided in Adobe Reader, so it is recommended to also have the PureEdge Viewer installed.

Important Update! Adobe Reader 8.1.2 is in testing, Adobe Reader 8.1.1 is still required.

Adobe released the latest version of their Adobe Reader software (8.1.2). Grants.gov is currently testing the Adobe Reader version 8.1.2 for compatibility with Adobe Reader application packages. Until testing is completed, Grants.gov still requires the use of Adobe Reader version 8.1.1 until further notice.

Adobe Reader 8.1.1 is available to download for free on the Grants.gov website. For more information on Adobe Reader please visit the Help section.

Please note, not all applications are provided in Adobe Reader, so it is recommended to also have the PureEdge Viewer installed.
