Funding
Each year, the Federal government commits significant resources to the fight against HIV/AIDS. To increase the breadth and effectiveness of HIV/AIDS programs a proportion of these resources are made available to non-Federal entities and researchers in the form of direct grants and cooperative agreements. Assistance is provided to support medical research and for expansion of HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and treatment programs. Topics
