The purpose of the Department of the Interior Acquisition Regulation (DIAR) is to:

  1. Implement and supplement the Federal Acquisition Regulation
  2. Implement Departmental policies
  3. Replace the DIAR dated 1986

NOTE: Below are some of the recently revised DIAR chapters. Other revised DIAR chapters will be posted at this website over the next few weeks. Please be aware that not all of the particular information and/or changes related to the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act and the Federal Acquisition Reform Act have been incorporated in the revised DIAR. This is an ongoing process; changes will be made on a regular basis to keep the DIAR as current as possible.
