Do you need to transfer your MS Office skills to the new 2007 package? Our survey course will introduce you to the latest additions in the MS Office Suite. This course covers the changes in the interfaces of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. You will learn how to operate the new ribbon menu structure in each package and also develop basic skills in each of these applications. After completing this course, students should be able to create basic text documents, design spreadsheets, create presentations and build tables in a relational database.
During this four-week instructor-led, live online course, you participate in a three-hour class every Thursday through the Internet. You master the course content through real-time lectures, simulations or demos, and slide presentations, and can join class discussions via text chat communication. If you miss any of the four live sessions, you can view the archived session. Between the live sessions, you complete instructional assignments.
You do not have to have MS Office 2007 to participate in this class. Our instructors use cutting-edge technology to allow you to simulate use of the application. However, we do recommend obtaining MS Office 2007 before the course begins because you will need the software to complete your assigned learning exercises and because having the software will help enrich your learning experience.
