TES L1B Read Software

Callable routines written in Interactive Data Language (IDL) provide access to the data in a TES Level 1B file. These routines take as input the name of a TES Level 1B data file and return some portion of the data from that file.

NOTE: These routines work with IDL version 6.1 and higher and TES Level 1B version F02 and F03 files.

The Level 1B read software can be downloaded as a tar file containing ten IDL procedure files and the Readme file, TES_L1BReadSoftwareV3.tar (82 KB). The files may be extracted from the tar package using the Unix tar command or a utility such as WinZip on Windows PCs.
