The HIV/AIDS Program: Policy Notices

The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program was enacted in 1990 and reauthorized in 1996, 2000 and 2006. Title XXVI of the Public Health Service Act as amended by the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Modernization Act of 2006 delineates the statutory requirements of the program; HRSA develops policies that implement them. Policy notices provide guidance to grantees in understanding and implementing legislative requirements.
