Highlights

• Summaries of DNA Database and Postconviction Statutes from the American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics. ASLME, as part of its DNA Fingerprinting and Civil Liberties Project, has created summary tables of State statutes on both DNA Databases (updated April 2006) and Postconviction Testing (updated June 2005). This project is funded by the National Human Genome Research Institute of the NIH.
  
  
• Online Training: Principles of Forensic DNA for Officers of the Court
  This 15-module online tutorial was designed primarily for prosecutors, defense attorneys, and judges. But it provides an introduction to DNA analysis and the legal issues surrounding DNA evidence that will interest the general public, too.
