You are invited to register for the joint conference sponsored by the University of Maryland at College Park and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). The two-day event, "Partnerships in Innovation II: From Vision to Reality and Beyond" will be held on October 7-8, 2008 in College Park, Maryland, USA.

The conference focuses on the leadership and coordination of these two institutions for addressing the challenges of electronic records, highlighting key partnerships and projects established to draw upon the innovative minds in universities, government agencies, and the private sector.

The two day conference features panel presentations on topics such the release of NARA's Electronic Records Archives System, Standards and Policies for Trusted Digital Repositories, Institutional Repositories: Lessons Learned, Partnerships in Research, Tools and Technologies, and DataNet: A Digital Preservation Network for the Future.

The registration fee for the two-day event is $175 and includes lunch and refreshments on both days. There is a student fee of $50; current enrollment information and a valid student ID must be presented at registration. No other discounts apply.
