The U.S. Coast Guard Academy Cadet Law Society and Mock Trial Club cordially invite you to The Guardian Invitational at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut. This invitational tournament, following American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) rules, will consist of four rounds, one on Friday evening, two on Saturday (morning and afternoon) and one on Sunday morning. Features unique to this opportunity will be its nautical theme including the Academy's beautiful waterfront campus, as well as judges whose credentials include significant nautical and military experience. There will be a 16 team limit, so space is limited. We hope you join us!Registration Fee

Parking
Drivers will need to show photo identification and get a Visitors Pass at the Academy entrance gate. Though construction has temporarily restricted parking availability on campus, the Coast Guard Academy welcomes visitors and provides clearly marked Visitor spaces near Waesche Hall and the Visitors Center site. **Please inquire at the gate upon your arrival whether any additional parking information is available for Guardian Invitational guests.**

The American Mock Trial Association serves as the governing body for intercollegiate mock trial competition. Through engaging in trial simulations in competition with teams from other institutions, students develop critical thinking and public speaking skills, as well as a knowledge of legal practices and procedures. AMTA sponsors regional and national-level competitions, as well as providing interesting and complex case materials for academic use.
