The information that we receive from employees, visitors, and the general public is vital to the fulfillment of our mission to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse.

We can assist you with complaints regarding:

1. Abuse of Authority

2. Bribes, kickbacks, or bid-rigging

3. Conflicts of interest

4. Credit or purchase card fraud

5. Forgery

6. Thefts

7. Healthcare fraud

8. Improper use of government resources

9. Misuse of Smithsonian property

10. Significant misconduct

11. Violations of laws, rules, or regulations

12. Worker's compensation fraud

What we cannot assist you with:

1. Discrimination complaints (Please refer to OEEMA)

2. Employee benefits and compensation (Please refer to OHR)

3. Grievances (Please refer to the Ombudsman / Labor-Employee Relations)

4. Issues handled by other government agencies
