What do you get when the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) team up to create an exhibit about the ocean? Our breathtaking new ocean hall!

Beginning on September 27, 2008, millions of people from around our ocean planet will visit the Sant Ocean Hall. But you can have a sneak preview now.

Thanks to the generous support of the Smithsonian Women's Committee, you can go behind-the-scenes to learn how the exhibit is being created. You'll also be the first to discover some of the features that will make the ocean hall, like the ocean, teem with life.
