LD training: How to Develop & Implement a Legislative Strategy

On Friday, September 19 CMF will host the second in a series of training program developed specifically and exclusively for Legislative Directors to assist in your professional development. This session will focus on strengthening your skills at developing a legislative strategy for your office.

Chief of Staff training: Creating an Excellent Team

On Monday, September 15 CMF hosted a training exclusively for Chiefs of Staff and Staff Directors. It focused on how to create an excellent team environment in your office. The program covered:

  • Understanding what makes a great team
  • Identifying your team's strengths and weaknesses
  • Making your team productive and accountable
  • Building trust, respect, and open communications
