Congressman John D. Dingell, Ranking Member on the Committee on Energy and Commerce, made the following statement today about the electricity blackout: "We expect to know in the coming days the source of these difficulties, and I have asked for hearings at the earliest practicable time. We may need to put targeted reliability legislation on the fast track, and not let it get bogged down in the broader energy bill now going to conference." - 30 -
