SENATOR COLLINS’ STATEMENT ON GAO’S PAUL POSNER
 
Washington, DC – Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) today praised the work done by Paul Posner at the Government Accountability Office (GAO). GAO announced today that Posner would be leaving his post as Managing Director for Federal Budget and Intergovernmental Relations Analysis to become the Director of the Public Administration Program at George Mason University.

Senator Collins is the Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, which has oversight of GAO. The following is Senator Collins’ statement:

“Paul has been a great asset to Congress during his time at GAO. My staff and I have had the pleasure of working closely with him on preventing government waste and addressing 21st century challenges. I thank him for the important work he has done in the interest of good government and protecting the American taxpayer, and wish Paul the best in his future endeavors.”
