♦ Help with federal agencies |
Help with federal agenciesWhether you are a senior having problems with Social Security, a veteran needing assistance with your benefits, or in need of any assistance with a federal agency, my staff of trained caseworkers is available to help. Of course, I cannot guarantee a favorable response, but I can contact an agency on your behalf and make sure your problem receives fair and timely consideration. Heres how to request assistance. First, you must be a resident of the 24th Congressional District. If you live outside the 24th Congressional District, you should contact your Representative. Second, the Privacy Act mandates that we have your written consent before a caseworker can obtain facts about you from any federal agency. The best way to initiate action is to write to me (see Contact page for information), giving me a brief explanation of your problem and ask for my assistance. Be sure to include a case number (if you have one) and any pertinent supporting documents. These are some of the most common problems that my staff and I can help you solve:
I am not able to offer legal advice or recommend an attorney. I cannot intervene in cases under the jurisdiction of any court. But I will try, when possible, to find an administrative solution within our federal agencies. I look forward to being of assistance to you. |
