The House Natural Resources Committee, led by Chairman Nick J. Rahall (D-WV), will meet in open markup session to mark up the following bills:
  • H.R. 4074 (Costa): To authorize the implementation of the San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement, and for other purposes. (San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement Act)

  • H.R. 123 (Dreier): To authorize appropriations for the San Gabriel Basin Restoration Fund.

  • H.R. 236 (M. Thompson): To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to create a Bureau of Reclamation partnership with the North Bay Water Reuse Authority and other regional partners to achieve objectives relating to water supply, water quality, and environmental restoration. (North Bay Water Reuse Program Act of 2007)

  • H.R. 2085 (Fallin): To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to convey to the McGee Creek Authority certain facilities of the McGee Creek Project, Oklahoma, and for other purposes. (McGee Creek Project Pipeline and Associated Facilities Conveyance Act)

  • H.R. 3739 (Grijalva): To amend the Arizona Water Settlements Act to modify the requirements for the statement of findings.

The Committee on Natural Resources met in open markup session on Thursday, November 15, 2007, and considered the following bills
:

H.R. 4074 (Costa): To authorize the implementation of the San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement, and for other purposes. "San Joaquin River Restoration Settlement Act"

An amendment offered by Mrs. McMorris Rodgers #3* was NOT AGREED TO by a roll call vote of 14 yeas and 22 nays.

An amendment offered by Mr. Lamborn #1* was NOT AGREED TO by a roll call vote of 15 yeas and 24 nays.

An amendment offered by Mrs. McMorris Rodgers #6 was NOT AGREED TO by a roll call vote of 15 yeas and 24 nays.

Favorably reported to the House of Representatives by a roll call vote of 25 yeas and 15 nays.


H.R. 123 (Dreier): To authorize appropriations for the San Gabriel Basin Restoration Fund.

An amendment in the nature of a substitute offered by Mrs. Napolitano.020 was AGREED TO by unanimous consent.

Favorably reported to the House of Representatives, as amended, by unanimous consent.


H.R. 236 (M.
