How Senator Dole can help
Thank you for visiting this section on assistance with federal agencies and casework. As your Senator, you have my commitment that I will always strive to provide North Carolinians with constituent service that is second to none. Being responsive and helpful to constituents who have difficulties with the federal government is a long-standing tradition that I am proud to continue. On this site, you will find a general overview of the services my office can provide, as well as the procedures I am required to follow and answers to questions you may have that do not require an official inquiry.
Please understand that under federal law, I must have a request in writing before my office can take any action on your behalf. To initiate your casework, it is important for you to complete the Privacy Act waiver and mail or fax it to the indicated office. If your concern or case requires immediate assistance, please call my Raleigh or Salisbury office.
If you are a resident of North Carolina and your difficulty is with an agency of the federal government, I am always pleased to be of assistance. If your problem is with the State of North Carolina, for instance the issuance of drivers' licenses, please refer to www.ncgov.com. You may also use this site to determine who represents you in the North Carolina State Senate, the North Carolina House of Representatives or to contact the Governor's office or a state agency. If you are not a resident of North Carolina, Senate tradition calls upon all senators to forward your request to the appropriate state to allow each elected member the opportunity to assist constituents within his or her state. You may find a list of United States Senators and their contact information at www.senate.gov. I have confidence that your home state senator will provide appropriate suggestions and assistance.
Thank you for the confidence you have shown in contacting me. It continues to be an honor and privilege to serve you in the United States Senate.
