Committee Investigates Government Contractors’ Use of Tax Shelters

In letters to KBR and fourteen other federal contractors that perform work in Iraq and Afghanistan, Chairman Waxman requested information about the use of off-shore subsidiaries to reduce federal tax liability.

In addition to KBR, the following contractors received requests: L-3 Communications Titan Corporation, Dyncorp, Science Applications International Corp., Fluor Corp., The Parsons Corp., IAP Worldwide Services, Inc., EOD Technology, Blackwater Security Consulting LLC, CACI International Inc., Triple Canopy, Inc., Perini, URS Corp., Environmental Chemical Corp., AECOM Government Services.
