Sen. Hutchison Announces a $788,435 Research Grant for UT-Austin


WASHINGTON -- Texas’ senior Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) today announced that a $788,435 research grant has been awarded to the University of Texas at Austin by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

“These funds will help support efforts at UT continues its national leadership in scientific research,” Sen. Hutchison said.

The grant will go to support a project entitled, “CSR-PDOS: BFT: The Time is Now,” which is under the direction of Associate Professor Dr. Lorenzo Alvisi of the University of Texas computer science faculty.
