Sen. Hutchison Releases a Statement on Tony Snow


WASHINGTON -- U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX), Texas’s senior Senator, released the following statement on the passing of Tony Snow:

“Tony Snow was a wonderful person and a gifted communicator. He will be remembered for not just what he did in life, but the way he did it.

“For 30 years, during his successful career in broadcasting, as a columnist, and his public service in two White House administrations, Tony embodied professionalism and collegiality, proving that you could disagree without being disagreeable.

“Tony faced cancer with courage and determination.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the Snow family at this time.”
