Sen. Hutchison Statement on Tornadoes in Eagle Pass

WASHINGTON -- Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX), Texas’ senior senator, today released the following statement in response to the tornadoes that hit Eagle Pass:

“This is a terrible tragedy and my thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of those who were lost or injured during the storm. I spoke with Eagle Pass Mayor Chad Foster and Maverick County Judge Jose Aranda this morning and they updated me on the situation there. I assured them that I will do whatever is necessary to provide the assistance needed to help recover from this disaster.”
