• Keeping Express Bus service continuing for the commuters on City Island while also delivering Federal funding for newer and cleaner buses



• Funding key infrastructure improvements on the Hutchinson River Parkway and I-95 in the eastern Bronx



• Helping the Boatyard Condominiums expedite the Federal regulatory process to build a 23-slip marina



• Enacting into law legislation mandating a review and overhaul of the postal operations throughout the Bronx to ensure greater service and efficiency for its customers



• Bringing over $2.2 Million into the City Island Community School District to improve local educational facilities and programs



• Successfully led the charge in Congress for $650 million to reimburse NYPD for expenses so these funds can be channeled to ensure more street patrols and safer neighborhoods
