FUNDING ANNOUNCEMENT
Yuma County has received a commitment for three Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) awards, including: $54,000 to add a fire suppression system to Sharon House, a group home for the disabled operated by The Saguaro Foundation; $118,000 to make improvements to Gadsden Park, including a new basketball court, ramada and swings; and $51,070 to purchase equipment for the Tacna Volunteer Fire Department.

The Town of Snowflake has received a commitment for two Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) awards, including: $238,269 to make improvements to the Academy Building Library; and $21,000 for improvements to the Snowflake Senior Center.
