Thompson Exposes TSA Cheating

November 2, 2007 (WASHINGTON) – Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) sent letters to both Edmund S. (“Kip”) Hawley, Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration, and Richard L. Skinner, Inspector General, Department of Homeland Security regarding an email sent from TSA to airport security staff and Federal Security Directors which gave notice of impending security testing.
