Senator Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.), Ranking Member of the Senate Commerce Committee's Subcommittee on Fisheries and Coast Guard, will chair a field hearing entitled "Vessel Oil Pollution: Reducing the Risk of Future Spills" in Seattle on Monday, August 1, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. The hearing will be held at the Port of Seattle Commission Chambers, Pier 69, 2711 Alaska Way in Seattle.
