Letter Questions Security of DHS Networks

May 1, 2007 – Today, Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) joined committee members in a letter to Department of Homeland Security Chief Information Officer Scott Charbo requesting information about the security of the Department’s networks. The letter follows up on a recent cybersecurity hearing, where members learned about the widespread hacking of government networks at the Departments of State and Commerce. The letter, linked below, poses 13 questions for response.
