 Congressman Joseph Crowley and Senator Charles Schumer preside over the Nov. 30, 2006, ceremony renaming the Woodside 61st Street Post Office in honor of the late Thomas J. Manton. Legislation by Congressman Crowley and Senator Schumer approved by Congress in September led to the renaming of the post office building two months later in the community where Manton grew up and represented in New York City Council and in the US House of Representatives. |
