The Committee on Energy and Commerce met in open markup session and took the following actions:

H.R. 3754, a bill to authorize the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to accept, as part of a settlement, diesel emission reduction Supplemental Environmental Projects, and for other purposes was ordered favorably reported to the House without amendment by a voice vote.

H.R. 1198, the “Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Act of 2008”, was ordered favorably reported to the House, as amended by the Subcommittee on Health, by a voice vote.

No amendments were offered in full Committee.

Mr. Shimkus offered a resolution on behalf of Mr. Barton making changes to the Republican membership on the standing Subcommittees of the Committee for the One Hundrend Tenth Congress, and asked unanimous consent that the Committee approve the resolution. Approved without objection.

H.R. 2464, the “Wakefield Act”, was ordered favorably reported to the House, as amended by the Subcommittee on Health, by a voice vote.
