Photos of Senator Thunes trip to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Senator Thune speaks on the floor of the United States Senate in favor of opening the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska (ANWR) to oil production. Once developed, ANWR would provide about 4.5% of our country’s oil consumption for the next 30 years, thereby decreasing America’s dependence on foreign sources of oil.
