Nomination Procedures:
To begin the Service Academy nomination process, candidates must fill out an online application. Please click on Service Academy Online Application to start the application process. You will need to create an account. Please follow the directions carefully.
Once you have completed and submitted your online application, candidates must submit the following to complete their file. All applicants must submit these items to Senator Brownback's office by the application deadline date to be considered for a nomination.

The deadline for candidates entering summer 2009 is October 1, 2008. (All information should be received in the Senators Topeka office or post-marked by October 1, 2008only applicants meeting this deadline will be considered.) Selection of Nominees:
The final nominees will be selected by a non-partisan Academy Nomination Committee. The committee members are all current or former military officers, who reside throughout the state of Kansas, and are alumni of the United States service academies.
Time line for Nominations:
The Academy Nomination Committee will convene in October, and interviews with nominees will take place in November. All candidates will be notified of their nomination status no later than December 31, 2008.
