D.C. Internships

Interns in my Washington, DC office work on a wide range of projects with my staff. Interns work in an administrative capacity to address constituent requests and concerns. In Washington, DC a typical day could include speaking with constituents on the phone, greeting visitors to the office, reviewing incoming correspondence, attending Senate committee hearings and briefings, and leading tours of the US Capitol Building.

In addition, each term two interns in the Washington, DC office are selected to assist the communications office in daily activities such as answering phone calls, speaking with media contacts, and drafting press releases.
