The event highlighted the importance of the Federal Railroad Administration’s Transportation Technology Center for training and preparing first responders in handling potential disasters and terrorist attacks involving trains and underground stations. In the roundtable, local first responder and state homeland security officials will discuss homeland security funding, training, interoperable communications, and response planning.
