Border Security and Immigration
As
a member of the Northern Border Caucus, McMorris Rodgers understands that
securing our Northern Border is essential to our national security. She
is committed to securing our borders; providing law enforcement agencies
with all the border security personnel; technology, and resources they
need; and strictly enforcing current immigration laws.
She supports a comprehensive immigration bill that takes into account
our national and regional economy, which must have the workforce to meet
the demands in agriculture and other service industries. We need to keep
our economy and workforce competitive in the 21st century by establishing
a legal workforce. A comprehensive immigration bill must take into account
potential impacts on our workers, their families and the overall economy.
